The Basics

The body's naturally occurring sugar used for immediate contouring, lifting, softening, and plumping.

With the advancement of injectable fillers, non-surgical facial 3D-restoration and facial shaping can deliver natural and fresh results. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, such as Restylane®, Juvederm® Fillers, Juvederm® Vycross, Belotero Balance®, are stabilized forms of hyaluronic acid, a naturally found type of sugar in your body, which holds 1,000 times it’s weight in water. At Entière Dermatology, we create a personalized comprehensive master plan to address wrinkles, folds, asymmetry, structural support, plumping, or softening of angles in order to ensure the best possible results.

What to Expect

At Entière Dermatology, we create a personalized comprehensive master plan to address wrinkles, folds, asymmetry, structural support, plumping, or softening of angles in order to ensure the best possible results. We work closely with you to find the right schedule for your lifestyle, whether it’s once or twice a year or small tweaks throughout the year.

Swelling is common and subsides over the week after treatment.

Bruising, lasting for a week, can also occur at the site of injection.

Over time, your body will naturally reabsorb the filler and the skin will return to its baseline. There are clinical studies however demonstrating that hyaluronic acid fillers can promote new collagen.

Our Recommendations

Apply an ice pack 3-4 times daily to help reduce swelling.

Avoid a facial or massage until a week after your treatment.

Avoid any unnecessary blood thinners such as vitamins, fish oil, vitamin E, supplements, aspirin, ibuprofen, Advil, Aleve, and alcohol for 3-7 days before to minimize the chances of bruising.

If you’re on aspirin or blood thinners for a medical indication, please continue them.

Try to limit sleeping on your face after the treatment.
