The Basics
Halo™ is the world’s first and only tunable hybrid fractional laser, combining non-ablative and ablative wavelengths in a single pass to maximize results and control downtime.
A hybrid fractional laser delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same or different microscopic treatment zones to provide ablative results, with non-ablative downtime. Halo™ gives you the results you want without the downtime you would expect.
What to Expect
For the next 24 to 48 hours, swelling, a heat sensation, and/or redness is expected and typically lasts 3 days after procedure. For the next 2-3 days after the procedure, darkening of red and brown spots, a suntanned look, minor crusting, flaking off, or peeling of the skin occurs. Blistering is rare but can happen. If blisters occur, please contact the office immediately.
Visible results can be seen after 2 weeks but it is normal to appear mildly pink for up to 4-6 weeks. Improvements continue up to 1 month after treatment and further with consecutive treatments after. Typically, a patient will need 2-3 sessions at 4 weeks intervals for optimal results.
Our Recommendations
If the skin feels hot, feel free to apply a clean cold pack to the treated areas for 10-15 minutes periodically as needed for the first 3 days.
If you have a history of cold sores or acne, please let your dermatologist know beforehand.

○ Apply sunscreen daily with reapplication every 2 hours if you are outdoors.
